Whether it is a festival, a beach or ski resort, country inn, night club, coffee house, or restaurant, no venue is too small or large for this likeable and easy going music professional. Along the way MICHAEL MULVANEY has been the opening act for such superstars as B.B. King, Willie Dixon, Ko Ko Taylor, John Hammond, Son Seals, Tracy Nelson, The Sun Rhythm Section, Mud Waters, and The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra.

His audience knows him from his powerful vocals and imposing stage presence as he sings an eclectic collection of Blue Americana songs integrating and combining and adapting Rock, Rock And Roll, Rhythm And Blues, Blues Rock, Twang, Funk, and World Music entering at times extradimentionaly and briefly into unique influences of Jazz, Regge, Celtic, and Afro-Latin. He has composed and published over 60 songs and recorded 45 originals, most of which are available on CD or mp3.

MICHAEL MULVANEY is a singer songwriter accompanying himself on acoustic guitar and harmonica. Mulvaney performs an eclectic collection of Rhythm and Blues, Classic Rock and Chicago Blues touched with Jazz, Folk and Country influences along with varied original compositions.

MICHAEL MULVANEY has performed from Van Buren, Maine to Key West, Florida, along the Atlantic coast, the Piedmont plateau, and from the mountains of New England south through Ohio, Kentucky and Georgia, to New Orleans, Louisiana, and beginning in 2007 in England and Ireland.

Mulvaney has participated in concert opening acts for B.B. King, Willie Dixon, Ko Ko Taylor, Son Seals, John Hammond, David Bromberg, The Sun Rhythm Section, The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Beatlemania, Junior Walker and The Allstars, Larry Garner, The Chicago Blues Allstars, Nils Lofgrin, Brian Bowers, Firefall, Townes Van Zandt, Billy Price, ? and the Mysterians, Bob Margolin, Grinderswitch, The Dreggs and Tracy Nelson.

MICHAEL MULVANEY is based in the Charlottesville, Virginia area and performs in concert series, festivals, and special events for arts councils and organizations, parks, municipalities, schools, colleges, universities, beach and ski resorts, country inns, bed and breakfasts, night clubs, coffee houses, restaurants, catered events, private clubs, social gatherings, and live radio broadcasts.
